The Oakbank Golf Club (OGC) is working towards becoming recognised as a dementia friendly golf club to cater for people, living with dementia and/or their carers who wish to continue to play golf and socialise at the Club. On Thursday, September 18th, the OGC will be holding a free and fun 9-hole Ambrose competition for people living with dementia and/or their care partners. Golf carts will be available and clubs and balls can be provided. Members of the OGC who are Dementia Friends will be available to accompany players on the course. The competition will commence at 10.00am (aim to arrive by 9.45am) and lunch will be provided following the round.
